Mental Health Care That Starts With Your Story

If something feels off and you're not sure why, or you've already tried approaches that haven't helped — conventional or otherwise — you deserve care that meets you where you are.

That means meeting you without assumptions. It means slowing down enough to actually listen — to what you share, and to what your body and patterns might be saying underneath the words. A lot of people who find their way here have already done something — therapy, medication, lifestyle changes, alternative approaches — and still feel like something is missing. That missing piece is often connection: between mind and body, between symptoms and story, between who you are and the care you're receiving.

At Intrinsic Wellness, I bring together psychiatric medication expertise and a deep respect for the mind-body connection. My work is informed by Hakomi — a mindfulness and somatic approach that follows the body's own wisdom — alongside evidence-based psychiatry and medication support when it's a good fit. This isn't about choosing between conventional and alternative, or medication and therapy. It's about having access to a fuller range of tools, and using what actually fits you.

The goal isn't just symptom relief — though that matters. It's care that helps you understand yourself better, so that what shifts, stays shifted.

A Different Kind of Psychiatric Care

Most mental health care treats the mind as separate from the body. At Intrinsic Wellness, I work differently.

My approach is Hakomi-informed and psychiatrically grounded — which means I'm paying attention to your nervous system, patterns, and your history alongside any medications that might support your healing. Rather than layering treatments onto symptoms, we work together to understand what's actually driving them.

This is care that takes time, asks deeper questions, and doesn't reduce you to a diagnosis.

Different by design. Yours by intention
